Do you worry too much?

Do you remember that moment you were worried like hell that you are going to flunk the school test the night before taking the test? Was it helpful? Have you slept at all? What score did you get? How did you feel the night before your last job interview?

Worrying about a future situation doesn't do anything good. It's a complete waste of time. We spend our energy on something that will, most probably, never be fulfilled and if it, by any chance, gets fulfilled then we'll have less energy to deal with the real problem.

By overcoming this fear of the future outcomes you can become more aware of the present moment and enjoy it to the fullest, without the fear kicking your mind and ruining your mood. The night before a big event in your life you could be celebrating with your family enjoying a yummy dinner, instead of hiding under the sheets, because tommorow you'll get a chance to take a new path on your life journey. Whatever happens in the future, you'll have more energy and a fresh mind to deal with the real problems. Without worrying so much you'll make a better use of your time.

Accomplishing this is really hard especially if you suffer from anxiety, like I do, and maybe you won't overcome it completely but you can minimize it so that you can live happy like you deserve. You are more creative than other people because if you can imagine and think of all the possible bad future outcomes, most of which will never happen but you could write a book on them, that means that you're highly creative but your creativity goes in the wrong direction.

Why don't you reverse your creative way of thinking. Think of all the possible future outcomes. Let's say you're having your book published and, instead of thinking what could possibly go wrong, you empower your creative way of thinking and think of all the positive outcomes of your book being published. For example, you'll make a difference in this world, earn more money which you could use to help others, be a guest in tv talk shows and share your knowledge, meet more people etc.

Start using your creativity to make positive changes to your life and I guarantee you it will pay off. Just keep in mind to be gentle on yourself, whatever bad happens. Don't ever give up, you're stronger than you think. Be patient and practice your positive creativity. I believe in you.
